HIRE TERMS & CONDITIONS

Golfy (PTY) LTD

These Hire Terms & Conditions apply to the rental and hire of golf carts, forklifts, utility vehicles, trailers, and other equipment supplied by Golfy (PTY) LTD.

By hiring equipment from us, the customer agrees to comply with the following terms and conditions.

1. HIRE AGREEMENT

1.1 The hire agreement begins once the equipment is delivered, collected, or made available to the customer.

1.2 The equipment remains the property of Golfy (PTY) LTD at all times.

1.3 The customer agrees to use the equipment responsibly and only for its intended purpose.

2. PAYMENTS

2.1 Full or partial payment may be required before delivery or collection.

2.2 Rental fees must be paid according to the agreed quotation or invoice.

2.3 Late payments may result in additional charges or suspension of services.

2.4 All prices are subject to applicable taxes unless otherwise stated.

3. DELIVERY & COLLECTION

3.1 Delivery and collection services may be provided at an additional cost.

3.2 Customers must ensure the delivery site is safe and accessible.

3.3 Failed deliveries caused by inaccessible sites or incorrect information may result in additional charges.

4. CUSTOMER RESPONSIBILITIES

The customer agrees to:

• Operate equipment safely and responsibly

• Ensure operators are qualified where required

• Keep the equipment secure at all times

• Prevent misuse, overloading, or unauthorized modifications

• Return the equipment in the same condition received, excluding normal wear and tear

5. DAMAGE, LOSS & THEFT

5.1 The customer is fully responsible for any loss, theft, or damage occurring during the hire period.

5.2 Any repair or replacement costs resulting from negligence, misuse, or accidental damage may be charged to the customer.

5.3 Equipment must be inspected upon delivery and any issues reported immediately.

6. BREAKDOWNS & MAINTENANCE

6.1 Customers must immediately stop using faulty equipment and notify Golfy (PTY) LTD.

6.2 Unauthorized repairs or modifications are strictly prohibited.

6.3 We will arrange repairs or replacements where applicable.

7. FUEL & BATTERY CHARGING

7.1 Fuel-powered equipment must be returned with the same fuel level supplied.

7.2 Electric golf carts and equipment must be properly charged and maintained during the hire period.

8. RENTAL PERIOD

8.1 Rental periods are agreed in advance and stated on the invoice or quotation.

8.2 Late returns may incur additional rental charges.

8.3 Extensions must be approved before the original hire period expires.

9. CANCELLATIONS

9.1 Booking cancellations may be subject to cancellation fees.

9.2 Deposits may be non-refundable once equipment preparation or transport arrangements have commenced.

10. LIABILITY

10.1 Golfy (PTY) LTD shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of hired equipment.

10.2 Customers assume full responsibility for the safe use and operation of hired equipment.

11. TERMINATION

Golfy (PTY) LTD reserves the right to terminate any hire agreement if:

• Payment terms are breached

• Equipment is misused

• Unsafe operation occurs

• Terms and conditions are violated

We may recover equipment without prior notice where necessary.

12. GOVERNING LAW

These Terms & Conditions shall be governed in accordance with the laws of South Africa.
