Our Story

The Golfly SA brand was founded in the late 1990s when our founder and CEO, Langley Perrins, identified a gap in the South African golf market following his time in the United States.

With years of experience in professional golf and strong industry connections, Perrins built a career both on and off the course, including competing on the Sunshine Tour for over a decade. He later transitioned into business, launching ventures in golf accessories and training products, gaining valuable insight into the retail and sporting goods industry.

A defining moment came in 1996 when he discovered an opportunity to introduce premium American golf apparel to South Africa. This vision led to partnerships with international brands and the creation of a retail model focused on high-quality, well-merchandised golf apparel in pro shops across the country.

Today, Golfly SA continues to build on that foundation by combining innovation, experience, and a deep understanding of the golf lifestyle market.
